Mission Statement for the upcoming Non Profit Organization: Ollie Over Art [Collective]

Through the difficult times and the prosperous adventures we have in our lives one thing that brings us together is the expression of art through poetic mediums. Ollie Over Art, a nonprofit art collective, holds a vision to sustain and contribute to a community of artists and improve the influence they have in the world around them. Before diving into what Ollie Over Art does specifically for the artists, we need to be unified with a common goal.
Mahatma Ghandi once said, “Be the change you wish to see in the world.” With this in mind, our call to artists will maintain three purposes: to uphold moral aptitude, to construct social justice (Both in a macro and micro sense.), and to embrace the freedom of expression. With these goals our artists convey a purpose to their work that extends far beyond pen and paper. The more we can apply these concepts to our artwork and the way we promote, display, and distribute the more positive impact we have in the world as we know it.
Ollie Over Art is committed to producing outstanding and unique pieces of art that directly benefit a charitable cause in the community our artists reside in. As a community of artists, we aim to improve the quality of life our members and patrons have. Our collective welcomes volunteers to sign a pledge of commitment to the three objectives our collective stands for, as well as a personalized pledge of how they will fight injustice in their community through the creation of art.
Our mission is to constantly improve our impact and reach while maintaining decorum throughout the difficult times matched with the stable. While each artist inevitably holds their own unique vision, by creating common ground in an abstract field we can display beauty and justice to the people who need it most. Through our hearts, minds, and souls, we create to inspire, we destroy to rebuild, and we give to create change.
